LAB / EXPERIMENT 03

Health, in motion.

What if health guidance could help us make better choices in the moment — not just tell us what happened afterward?

THE EXPERIMENT

Choose. Learn. Adjust.

I started with a simple VR experiment: kids built a healthy lunch and received immediate feedback as they made choices.

  1. CHOOSE
  2. FEEDBACK
  3. ADJUST
  4. LEARN

THEN I BUILT IT AGAIN

Meet Yum Yum Play.

I revisited the idea with today's prototyping tools and turned it into something you can actually play.

WHAT I LEARNED

Can play teach better decisions?

The interesting part wasn't teaching kids what was healthy.

It was giving them a chance to choose, see what happened, and try again.

Practice, not instruction.

THE GREATER VISION

What if technology could help kids grow into healthier, more capable humans?

Not another screen to watch. Something that understands who they are, meets them in real life, and helps them practice what comes next.

  1. 01

    Know me

    Health · habits · preferences · goals

  2. 02

    Meet me here

    Understand the moment and environment

  3. 03

    Coach me

The right nudge, challenge or encouragement

  4. 04

    Help me grow

Build skills and independence over time

WHERE IT COULD GO

Food is where it started. The rest are open questions.

  1. EAT
  2. MOVE
  3. COOK
  4. ROUTINES
  5. SELF-CARE
  6. LIFE SKILLS

The goal isn't a better lunchbox.
It's helping a child need less help over time.
