Goal was the creation of seamless online and in-store experience for locally owned Luke’s Locker Running and Fitness.
Planning included a responsive end user website, iOS App, and updated retail experience that worked in cadence with the branding and family friendly service the store was so well known for.
Digital concept and strategy
Luke’s Locker is a family owned running and fitness store that specializes in custom shoe fittings and gait analysis. My goal was to create a digital space where customers could house their shopping preferences, upload their fitness stats, earn rewards, book custom shoe fitting sessions, and connect with the community. It had to be more than an ecomm site.
Succeeding as a small business in today’s digital world required extra creativity and endless case studies from some of our most valued customers.
I quickly understood they valued genuine customer service, qualified running industry experts, and a deeper connection to the community that fed their passion. This website and rebranding project would give them all of this and more!

Retail environment
The retail environment included a vast company timeline complimented with vintage photos (locally sourced from city archives) that captured the beauty of the North Texas running community.
The timeline carefully tells the story of the family, employees, new locations, and key brands that contributed to the success of the company over past 40 years. Monochrome color pallet, and honeycomb shapes were perfectly chosen to allow expansion or removal of certain parts of the timeline when needed. This guaranteed endless customer engagement.
